PM Surya Ghar free electricity scheme offers a subsidy amount of INR 30,000 for installing rooftop solar panels. The subsidy will be provided on the basis of the per kilowatt kW (kilowatt) system installed on the rooftop. For an additional 3 kW system the limit will be INR 18,000.

Subsidy Details:

• People who will install a 1 kW system will get INR 30,000.

• People who will install a 2 kW system will get INR 60,000 (30,000 x 2).

• People with a 3 kW system will get a subsidy of INR 78,000.

• For systems having capacity of more than 3 kW, the total subsidy will be limited to INR 78,000.
