BPSC 71st Combined Competitive Exam 2025*
The preliminary exam date for BPSC 71st CCE 2025 has been revised now scheduled for 13 September 2025 (earlier it was planned for 10 September 2025).
Total number of vacancies increased this year up to 1,264 posts for different Group A and B jobs in Bihar Civil Services. Main positions includes Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Deputy Collector, Block Welfare Officer, District Commandant and more.
The admit card for the prelims exam will be release around 10 days before the exam.

Bihar Public Service Commission History
The BPSC was established on1st April 1949after its separation from Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. Since then, the commission has maintained its head office inPatna, Bihar. BPSC Eligibility Criteria
Graduation in any discipline for most jobs.
For Financial Administrative Officer posts, the degree must be in Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Age limit: 21 to 37 years for UR Male, up to 42 years for SC/ST candidates (as per the rules, age relaxation for reserved category).
Application Fee: Rs600 for general/OBC/EWS, Rs150 for SC/ST/Female/PWD candidates from Bihar category.
